Today’s brief meeting was called by Board Chairman/Supervisor Jack Sellers to appoint a replacement for the state representative vacancy in Arizona Legislative District 11. There are three candidates. Supervisor Steve Gallardo nominates one of them. This is seconded by Supervisor Bill Gates. The decision is passed unanimously.

This brief meeting was called to have Board members consider and appoint one of three candidates who had filed applications to fill the current vacancy in Arizona State Legislative District 8, which is in Supervisor Tom Galvin’s BOS District 2.
